Born in São Tomé and living in Portugal from an early age, Jay Pereira found his true stage in the kitchen. Having started his career at the age of 22, he has now gained over 18 years of experience between Portugal and Germany, leading leading kitchens and starting his own business.
Today, through KUMÉ, Chef Jay combines techniques, passion and identity to create more than just meals - he creates memories at the table. Each dish is an extension of his story, where tradition and sophistication meet soul.
